Je t'aime Brooklyn

My photo in New York Magazine

My photo of Nora Ephron used by New York Magazine

My photo of Nora Ephron used alongside Frank Rich’s piece for New York Magazine. It’s also in print – the 8/27 issue, on sale now.
See it and read the amazing story here.

I took this photo back in April, just three months before Ms. Ephron passed away. It was at a Q&A with Nora Ephron & Lena Dunham as part of the BAMcinématek series “Hey, Girlfriend! Lena Dunham Selects”. Nora was full of life that evening and so inspiring – I feel so lucky that I was able to be in the same room with her.

The Self-Portrait Project

Can you find me?!

A couple months ago, I submitted my 4×4 self-portrait painting to The Self-Portrait Project through Art House Co-op. It was my first painting that wasn’t of an established cartoon character…

Tonight was the exhibit’s opening at the Brooklyn Art Library. More photos here.

After that, Rick & I went to BAM to see an Abbott & Costello double feature (Buck Privates & In the Navy). Fun night!

Let's Go Cyclops!

If you’re ever at a Brooklyn Cyclones game and hear someone yell “Let’s go Cyclops!” it’s probably this guy. He has been at all the games we’ve been to this season.

Tonight the Cyclones were playing the Vermont Lake Monsters. I cheered for Brooklyn, but it was a tough choice since I was born and raised in Vermont…
